What You’ll Do
As an Orthopaedic Instruments Associate Sales Representative, you will partner with a Sales Representative to drive business growth by supporting the sale of medical devices within a defined territory. You’ll leverage your communication, organization, and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders, support complex sales cycles, and contribute to a high-performing team. Thriving in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, you take ownership of your development while helping execute against territory goals.
- Support the promotion and sale of medical devices across hospitals and healthcare systems
- Participate in operating room (OR) cases, product evaluations, and clinical support activities
- Assist in building relationships with surgeons, OR staff, SPD, and hospital stakeholders
- Contribute to territory growth by supporting account expansion and identifying new opportunities
- Help execute product trials, conversions, and new product launches
- Deliver and support in-services and product education for clinical staff
- Track territory performance, activity, and key metrics (calls, cases, opportunities)
- Assist with pipeline development, outreach, and customer follow-up activities
- Maintain product inventory and ensure operational readiness
- Continuously develop sales skills, product knowledge, and business acumen through coaching and field experience
What you need
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred:
- Internship, sales, or professional experience in B2B sales, healthcare, business development, or customer-facing roles
- Demonstrated success in high-activity environments (e.g., cold calling, outreach, events, or customer engagement)
- Strong interest in medical device or healthcare sales
- Experience working in team-based or goal-oriented environments
- Demonstrated leadership or high-performance experience through collegiate/professional athletics, internships, or active involvement in extracurricular organizations
Additional Information
- Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
- Travel is required within the assigned territory; may include some overnight stays
- Must have a valid driver's license
$73,000.00 salary and may be eligible to earn a bonus + benefits
Travel Percentage: 20%
