POSITION OVERVIEW 

The District Sales Manager will lead and develop a team of motivated sales professionals that ethically and compliantly represent the company by providing approved disease and product information and resources to target Health Care Professionals (HCPs), helping to make a difference in the lives of customers. This role will lead, inspire, and motivate a team to reach and exceed business goals, maximizing their growth and development potential. They will work collaboratively across the sales organization to appropriately address customer needs and ensure that we deliver on our sales targets and objective of demonstrating value for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead recruitment, screening, hiring and development of top talent for the assigned district
  • Possess ownership and accountability to execute the strategic plan to achieve or exceed individual and company goals
  • Make regular Specialist field visits to develop and motivate toward goal attainment; assess and monitor field activity, reporting requirements and work schedules
  • Lead a team of highly motivated sales professionals by creating, articulating, and driving a vision for the district that builds off the objectives and vision for the organization
  • Analyze performance data, market trends, market access dynamics, and build strategic business plans to address challenges and capitalize on business opportunities
  • Demonstrate clear and thorough understanding of Collegium, ADHD marketplace, relevant competitive products, and the disease area; leverage this knowledge to model, develop, and coach team to exemplary selling skills and product and disease state knowledge
  • Manage the growth and development of team members based on their needs, experience, motivation, and business requirements
  • Provide consistent and accurate expectations and feedback to representatives as part of an ongoing performance management process through timely assessment of performance using measurable outcomes in addition to annual reviews
  • Support the district by reviewing expense reports, monitoring compliance training, and managing administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6-8 years of related Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience with 3 years of management experience required
  • Experience in the ADHD Marketplace, Managed Markets, Marketing, Training and/or Operations preferred
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and judgment
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills along with the willingness and ability to challenge customers, direct reports, and colleagues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) required
Pay Range
$190,000$220,000 USD
