SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers while providing them with the sales and support necessary to expand our customer base in the area.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales support for clients of all sizesCold calling potential new customersFollowing up on sales leads from customer employees & contractorsBe able to discuss the need of pipes, valves, fittings (PVF), and other products to new and existing customersCommunicating frequently and clearly with store manager to ensure inventory needs are metSupport for other staff members as requested by the branch managerEHS REQUIREMENTS:Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goalsFollow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goalsComplete, and actively participate in all the company’s safety training requirementsMaintain a clean driving record in accordance with company insurance policyQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:4 years of experience working in a supply store environment2 years of experience working specifically with pipes, valves, and fittings (PVF)Navision software experience preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lift 50 lbs unassistedAbility to bend and stoop if necessaryWORK ENVIRONMENTThis position works inside a Bell Supply Store. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of this job.TRAVELTravel to job sites will be required for this position.
